Malibu's Dial-A-Ride Sevice Expands To Calabasas, Agoura Hills

Malibu residents can now use the city's dial-a-ride service to access new areas.

MALIBU, CA — Malibu's dial-a-ride service expanded at the start of 2022 to offer rides to Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Santa Monica and other nearby areas.

The dial-a-ride service offers transportation to help residents 60 years and older and with disabilities access essential services in and outside of Malibu like grocery shopping and doctor appointments.

The new perimeters on the service will include all of Agoura Hills, Calabasas north of Las Virgenes Canyon Road, Santa Monica between California Avenue and Colorado Avenue, the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center and Veterans' Medical Center in West LA and Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, according to the city's website.

Rides must be booked 24 hours in advance and cost $1-2 within Malibu and $4 for trips outside of Malibu. Rides are offered Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
