Man With Machete Blocked Pacific Coast Highway Sunday

MALIBU, CA — Authorities made an arrest Sunday afternoon after a man was found in Malibu with a machete.

One man was arrested in connection with the incident on multiple charges including delaying and obstructing an officer, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Lost Hills station. No citizens or officers were injured during the arrest.

Police closed the State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) at Coastline Drive around 3:37 p.m. Sunday to detain a man with a machete, according to the sheriff's department. The man was detained and PCH was reopened around 6:40 p.m.
