Mr. Chow Eyes Late December Opening
The upscale restaurant, which has taken the place of Nobu, was initially scheduled to open Dec. 17, but that was pushed back.
Mr. Chow, an upscale restaurant that offers Beijing cuisine, could be opening as early as Dec. 29 at the Malibu Country Mart.
The restaurant's owner Michael Chow has taken over and overhauled the former location of Nobu Malibu, which moved from its original location to a beachfront property at 22706 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
An employee at the Bevelry Hills location said Mr. Chow in Malibu was initally expected to open on Dec. 17, but that was pushed back because of delays during the construction process. The tentative opening date is now Dec. 29, but that could change, she said.
