Mr. Chow to Open Malibu Location

Mr. Chow, an upscale restaurant that offers Beijing cuisine, is slated to take over Nobu's former space in Malibu, according to reports.

recently moved from its original location at the to a beachfront property at 22706 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

"We're just taking over the space. Nobu and I share the same clientele -- we're buddies, so to speak. One day people eat Chinese, the next day Japanese. Our places are very close in Tribeca, they're complementary. So Malibu is really a no-brainer," Michael Chow told the Hollywood Reporter.

The opening of Mr. Chow, which has other locations in Beverly Hills, London, Miami, Las Vegas and New York, is expected in about three months.
