No Charges Filed Against Malibu Artist

Paul Rusconi's name has been cleared of allegations of lewd acts upon a minor and possession of child pornography.

Charges will not be filed against a Malibu pop artist accused of taking inappropriate photos of his daughters, a Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office spokeswoman confirmed Monday.

Paul Rusconi found out Friday that his name has been cleared. He was arrested last June on suspicion of lewd acts upon a minor and possession of child pornography. The alleged victims were his 20-month-old twin daughters.

Rusconi told KTLA that he is relieved the ordeal is over.

"It's just nice to have something like that not looming over your head, and when they Google your name they'll find other things as well," Rusconi told the TV station.

He said in the interview that he believes the allegations were made against him by the girls' former nanny and her husband because he is a single gay parent. Rusconi got his two girls back five months ago.
