Rockslide Shuts Down PCH Lanes Wednesday Morning In Malibu

MALIBU, CA — All lanes of Pacific Coast Highway have reopened after a rockslide left debris in the road, shutting down several lanes Wednesday morning, officials said.

Both northbound lanes of PCH at Big Rock Drive were closed at around 9 a.m. due to the debris. One lane reopened an hour later, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes had reopened by 2 p.m., according to city officials.

The debris are storm-related, according to a Sigalert, and city officials said the debris are from a rockslide.
