Old School Malibu to Celebrate Grand Opening

There will be a party in Malibu on Sunday to celebrate the grand opening of , the boutique in La Costa Plaza, located at 21221 Pacific Coast Highway off Rambla Pacifico Road.

Old School Malibu, owned by old school Malibuite Romy Bennett, sells T-shirts, hoodies and other products featuring Malibu logos of the '60s, '70s and '80s. 

"When the mom and pops started disappearing, those of us who grew up here wanted to honor the establishments that no longer exist," Bennett said.

The grand opening party will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and feature hors d'oeuvres, wine and live acoustic music. Hanna Mulholland will perform from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.  

In addition to Old School Malibu gear, there will be jewelry, art and other items for sale.
