Pacific Coast Highway Lanes Open at Coastline Ridge Following Crash

A bicyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a box truck on Pacific Coast Highway in an unincorporated area just east of Malibu, authorities said.

The crash, reported at 4:50 a.m., closed PCH in both directions west of Coastline Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes were reopened about two hours later. A 30-year-old woman was taken from the scene to a hospital, said Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher Robert Diaz.

The injured party was a female bicyclist who was in critical condition, according to the CHP.
