MALIBU, CA — Pacific Coast Highway will be subjected to overnight lane closures this week as crews complete utility work.

The closures will begin 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and end at 6 a.m. the following morning while Southern California Edison completes utility line work. The northbound and southbound right lanes of PCH between Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Big Rock Drive will be impacted, according to the city of Malibu.

"By Oct. 23, K-rail will be placed, shifting the northbound lanes toward the ocean and eliminating the median. One lane will remain open in each direction during work. Proceed with caution, watch for workers and work vehicles in the road," the city said.
