Pedestrian Killed In PCH Collision Monday Night

MALIBU, CA — A woman was fatally hit by a car while she was crossing the street in Malibu Monday evening, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Lost Hills station.

No charges have been made against the driver, according to the Lost Hills station.

The collision occurred around 6:39 p.m. at 20356 State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway), authorities said. The woman, who was around 40 years old, was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The woman was crossing the road without a crosswalk in a dark area, according to the department.
