Pepperdine University Students Enter the World
Commencement ceremonies are set for Saturday morning at Alumni Park at Pepperdine University.
More than 850 Pepperdine University students, including 23 from the school's graduate programs, will be recognized Saturday at a commencement ceremony.
While some of the students graduated in December, others will complete their degrees this spring or summer, accoridng to Bill Krenn, Pepperdine's director of media relations.
The graduates represent a total of 52 countries and 41 states, including 436 from California. Of the 437, 133 are from Los Angeles County, 70 are from Ventura County and 39 are from Orange County, Krenn said.

As part of the ceremonies, Lester Holt, weekend anchor for NBC Nightly News, and weekend coanchor for TODAY, will be presented with an Honorary Doctorate from the Frank R. Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.
