Ramirez Canyon Strong: Malibu Photo Of The Week
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Patch and your work could be featured.

MALIBU, CA — This beautiful photo of a Red-tailed hawk was sent to us by Lori Ramey. The awesome action shot of the bird about to take flight was shot in Ramirez Canyon.
"I call it Ramirez Canyon Strong. This Red-tailed Hawk was on top of a burned Eucalyptus tree in Ramirez Canyon," Ramey told Patch. "The picture was taken in March of 2019. The hawks, like the rest of us, were finding their new normal. The Red-tails seems to be prospering even though we lost dozens of Eucalyptus trees that were over a 100 years old."
Got a photo share? It seems everyone's a photographer these days. Cell phones capture amazing images, and true DSLR cameras render detail that almost looks surreal. So we got to thinking, why not share the pictures we receive, and see elsewhere, with you?
