Redondo Beach Woman Killed in Malibu Crash
She likely drowned in the heavy surf after her car went off Pacific Coast Highway in the beach city.

A 57-year-old woman from Redondo Beach likely drowned in heavy surf after her car went off Pacific Coast Highway west of Malibu, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Beverly Moore may have either been thrown from her wrecked car, or climbed out of it, as it was pounded by heavy surf below Highway 1 just east of Mugu Rock on Sunday morning, CHP investigators told KBUU-FM in Malibu Tuesday.
Passersby discovered the wrecked car about 8:15 a.m., according to CHP investigators, who said evidence indicates the vehicle was heading east when it went off the road and into the surf between 6 and 7:30 a.m. that morning.
