Robbers Use Mace to Steal High-End Watches at Malibu Boutique
The robbery happened at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Westime Malibu jewelry store.
MALIBU, CA - At least four suspects robbed a watch and jewelry boutique at the Malibu Country Mart on Tuesday, making off with high-end watches after spraying Mace in the store, sheriff's officials said.
The robbery at Westime Malibu, 3832 Cross Creek Road, took place just after 10:30 a.m., said Lt. Edward Winslow of the sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills station.
"We got some detectives out there right now. It appears to be a robbery," Winslow said around 11:45 a.m. "It's (the investigation) very active right now. We don't know exactly who may have gotten Maced."
