Today is Small Business Saturday, a national day to recognize small businesses throughout the country, the backbone of the American economy. Here are some shopping ideas to support the small businesses in Malibu.

: Selling casual t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and casual pants with vintage Malibu logos, along with picture frames, candles and other gifts. Today and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., 15 percent off all purchases of $100 or more.

: Take a break from shopping, and have a meal from heaven at the  (you don't have to be a member to eat there). Serving lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
