SCE Power Interruptions Planned This Week In Malibu
Southern California Edison will temporarily shut off power to perform maintenance on the electrical system in areas of Malibu this week.
MALIBU, CA — Southern California Edison will temporarily interrupt electricity service and turn off power this week to perform maintenance on the electrical system in several areas of Malibu.
SCE crews will upgrade aging infrastructure, make needed improvements and complete other repairs to "increase system reliability in the future," the City of Malibu said.

- Tuesday, November 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Affected Area: 20600 block of Seaboard Rd; and 20500 block of Pinnacle Way
Outage Alert No: 1021356
- Thursday, November 21, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Affected Area: 20700 block of Pinnacle Way
"It is important to note that the power may be off for the whole period or may be turned off more than once," the City said. "This planned outage may not begin exactly at the stated start time, and some conditions may cause this planned outage to be postponed."
