It could take one to three days before service is restored after a Public Safety Power Shutoff is enacted and hazardous conditions have passed, because SCE must inspect all power lines in the affected circuit area to ensure they are safe to re-energize before turning the power back on.
The City said residents should monitor local news, including KNX AM-1070 and KBUU 99.1-FM on the radio. The City will post information on its website, social media, and Nextdoor, as well as with emergency alerts. Information will also be recorded on the Emergency & Traffic Hotline at 310-456-9982.
