SCE Shuts Off Power In Parts Of Malibu
Three other circuits are being considered for potential power shutoffs as well, according to SCE.
MALIBU, CA — Southern California Edison cut power to the Cuthbert circuit which covers the city of Malibu and unincorporated areas south of Malibu Vista, covering most of Point Dume, northeast nearly to Latigo Canyon, the sheriff's department reported.
Potential power shutoffs are being considered for other areas of Malibu, including: the Galahad circuit, the Maguire circuit and the Merlin circuit.
Traffic lights are out on Pacific Coast Highway at Point Dume, the City of Malibu said.

"All intersections where the signals are out should be approached as an all-way stop," the City said. "Motorists should be very cautious on the road, beware of tree branches, other debris, and fire, law and work vehicles in the road."
