Rescuers Work to Help Several Stranded Hikers Around Malibu
As temperatures hovered near the triple digits, several hikers called for help after running out of water, according to Malibu Search and Rescue.

Rescuers worked to help five hikers above Escondido Falls and another hiker in Malibu Creek State Park as temperatures reached near triple digits Tuesday.
Five hikers, ranging in age from 16 to 22 years old, called for help when they became stranded above the top of Escondido Falls in Malibu, according to David Katz, public information officer for Malibu Search and Rescue.
"They’re dehydrated and they were in an area that was canopied. They couldn’t see the ocean or homes," Katz said.
