Images Showing Future Malibu Lagoon Released

The images were released as part of a new State Parks website dedicated to the project.

California State Parks released a new website Friday detailing plans for the Malibu Lagoon Restoration Project and new images showing what the completed project will look like.

The website, restoremalibulagoon.com, is meant to educate the public on "all scientific facts regarding the restoration of the Malibu Lagoon," according to Roy Stearns, State Parks Deputy Director of Communication.

Documents on the site include the project's Environmental Impact Report, the Malibu Lagoon Restoration Monitioring Plan and several feasibility studies. The project's dewatering plan, which is currently under review, is not included on the site.
