PCH Lane Reopened In Malibu After Collision Caused Slowdowns

MALIBU, CA — A traffic collision caused a closure on the state Route 1, Pacific Coast Highway, near John Tyler Drive Thursday afternoon in Malibu. All lanes were reopened just after 4 p.m.

The collision, which was first reported around 1:07 p.m., closed one westbound lane of PCH and all southbound lane on John Tyler Drive. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries.

There was significant traffic on the westbound PCH Thursday afternoon near John Tyler Drive. There was no immediate time estimate on when the lanes would reopen.
