Vehicle Falls from PCH onto West Malibu Backyard

The driver was not injured in the crash. He was cited for allegedly driving without a license.

A Los Angeles man is in the hospital with unspecified non-life-threatening injuries after his vehicle fell off Pacific Coast Highway and into the backyard of a Broad Beach Road home early Thursday afternoon, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

Sgt. John Skikas said the vehicle was traveling eastbound on PCH just west of Trancas Canyon Road at about 12:15 p.m. before the crash occurred. The man was cited for allegedly driving without a license.

The incident report had not been completed as of Friday afternoon, but the car’s tires were bald, and that may have been a factor in the crash, Skikas said.
