MALIBU, CA — What better way to chill out than over a brownie?

Malibu residents can grab free CBD brownies and blondies on Saturday at Vintage Grocers, located at 30745 Pacific Coast Highway, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The samples come from C.B. Dough, a CBD cookie dough brand founded during the pandemic by sisters Sammy and Maddy Davidoff.

These calming brownie and blondie mixes are new additions to the C.B. Dough lineup. The goodies will be sold in a shelf-stable dry mix that just needs butter, an egg and water to make a relaxing treat. Each brownie and blondie contains around 30 mg of CBD, according to C.B. Dough's website.

The brand in December sampled its CBD cookie dough with free, freshly baked cookies at Vintage Grocers — and on National Cookie Day, no less. C.B. Dough sells its products year round at Vintage Grocers. On the shelf, they sell four flavors of ready-to-bake cookie dough. Each cookie has 15 mg of CBD in it.
