Wind Advisory Issued For Malibu

Gusts up to 35 mph were expected throughout Friday and into early Saturday morning, forecasters warned.

A strong Pacific storm prompted forecasters to issue a wind advisory for Malibu Friday morning.

The advisory was in effect from 10:30 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected, starting late this morning and continuing through late tonight, forecasters warned.

The advisory was issued for Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Long Beach.
