Zuma Jay Says Dan Blocker Should Be City Beach
Also known as Corral Beach, it is county property. A county spokesman says there is no chance the one-mile stretch will be handed to the city of Malibu.

Malibu member Jefferson "Zuma Jay" Wagner told Malibu Patch last month that his two major reasons for seeking a second term on the council are to get a viewshed ordinance passed and for the city to acquire its first beach.
The beach he is eying is a one-mile stretch of county property located on the other side of Pacific Coast Highway from officially known as and commonly known as Corral Beach. A county spokesman has told the Los Angeles Times the transfer will not happen.
"It's not going to be a city beach," said Joel Bellman, spokesman for , Malibu's representative on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, according to The Times.

Dan Blocker was donated to the state in 1979 by Bonanza actors Michael Landon and Lorne Greene. It is named after their co-star from the show. The property was given the county in 1995.
