MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Manhattan Beach with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District.
The first day of school for most students in schools in Manhattan Beach is Aug. 23.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Manhattan Beach Unified School District:
- First Day: Aug. 23
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 20—24
- Winter Break: Dec. 18—Jan. 5
- Mid-winter Break: Feb. 19—23
- Spring Break: April 1—5
- Last Day: June 14
