Car Crash Shuts Down Traffic In Manhattan Beach

Residents were advised to avoid Artesia Boulevard while police investigated a traffic collision.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach residents were advised to avoid the area near Mira Costa High School due to a collision that occurred Wednesday morning.

The Manhattan Beach Police Department sent an alert about the crash at about 9:30 a.m. While officers were at the scene, westbound Artesia Boulevard at Prospect Avenue was closed.

The crash was cleared at about 10 a.m. police said.
