City Council Closes Public Testimony on Manhattan Village Redevelopment
City Council is told that closing public comment will help develop a productive discussion that will culminate in a final vote by Council.

The brakes were put on the proposed Manhattan Village redevelopment Tuesday night when City Council opted to close public testimony in the ongoing battle between residents who oppose the project and the mall developer and proponents of the mall expansion.
