MANHATTAN BEACH CITY HALL AND CITY FACILITIES TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS

MANHATTAN BEACH CITY HALL AND CITY FACILITIES TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO VISITORS

Manhattan Beach (December 28, 2021) - In response to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the City of Manhattan Beach City Hall and the Police and Fire Department lobby will be temporarily closed to visitors through January 15, 2022.

Manhattan Beach (December 28, 2021)

“The health and safety of our community and City employees remain our top priority,” said Mayor Hildy Stern. “As cases in Manhattan Beach have increased by approximately ten times over the last few weeks, and the highly contagious omicron variant has become more prevalent within our community, it is necessary to take actions to slow community transmission of the virus and protect City employees.”

At this time, City Hall will be closed to visitors for walk-in services. Significantly, public safety and public works services will not be adversely affected, and in-person recreation programs will continue until further notice. In addition, City on-line services and in-person appointments are available. For a complete list of online City services or to make an appointment, please visit Manhattan Beach City Hall Appointments.

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the City of Manhattan Beach will continue to provide updates and daily case counts on the Manhattan Beach Coronavirus webpage.
