Drug Disposal Box Removed From Manhattan Beach Police Department
Due to safety concerns, the Manhattan Beach Police Department will no longer have a disposal box for controlled substances.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The drug disposal box in the Manhattan Beach Police Department was removed due to safety concerns, department officials announced.
MBPD said the concern was with the safety of discarding the contents of the box in the department's lobby, so they would no longer be a dumping site for controlled substances.
There are additional locations nearby that are provided by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency.
