While some restaurants will be closed for the holiday on April 20, plenty in Manhattan Beach and Los Angeles County will be open.

- Roundhouse Aquarium: This free educational Earth Day event on April 19 offers family-friendly activities, including searching for dolphins and other wildlife. (Located at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations are encouraged).
- Smashburger Egg Hunt: The burger chain will be hosting an egg hunt for kids on April 19. There will also be free food for kids. (Located at 3026 N. Sepulveda Blvd. at Manhattan Village).
- Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza & Camp Expo: This event in El Segundo will feature an egg hunt, bunny photos and information on the city's summer programs. It will take place at Recreation Park on April 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Located at 401 Sheldon St. in El Segundo).
- Spring Carnival + Super Egg Hunt: This family-friendly celebration at the Promenade | PV starts Friday with carnival rides from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday will feature a super egg hunt, a parachute egg drop and a race track for kids. (Located at 550 Deep Valley Dr. in Rolling Hills).
