Erewhon Opens New Store In Mahattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A luxury grocery store, which has often gone viral online over its $19 smoothies and celebrity endorsements, is opening its new location in Manhattan Beach on Wednesday, the company recently announced.

Doors to the new Erewhon Manhattan Beach location at 1700 Rosecrans Avenue open at 9 a.m. and will feature complimentary lattes from Clover Sonoma and Malk, fresh flowers from Flower Truck LA and other exclusive deals, such as a custom Manhattan Beach-themed smoothie from the Tonic Bar.

Limited edition tote bags will also be available for the first 150 customers who spend $250.

"The Manhattan Beach market is Erewhon’s southernmost location to date," the company said in a statement. "We remain committed to bringing the very best in health and wellness to this vibrant community."

Erewhon has been slowly expanding across Los Angeles County, opening up several new locations over the last few years.

In 2023, Erewhon gained online recognition for its Hailey Bieber "Strawberry Skin Glaze" smoothie — a nearly $20 drink made out of bananas, avocados, dates, maple syrup, coconut cream, collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid and sea moss gel. For a list of Erewhon's signature smoothies, click here.
