LA Kings Offer Discounted Tickets for Autism Speaks Night

The Los Angeles Kings will conduct Autism Speaks Night at Tuesday night’s game against the Vancouver Canucks at Staples Center.

The Kings are offering a limited number of discounted tickets, with a portion of the ticket proceeds benefiting Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization. The ticket offer is available at lakings.com/autismspeaks.

Autism Speaks will have a booth on the Staples Center concourse to promote its mission and ways to support it.

A public service announcement will be played before the game on the arena’s video board.

Members of the Cal State Northridge chapter of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority will be recognized for their fundraising efforts on behalf of Autism Speaks.

The game is also the second of the Kings’ four-game toy drive. New toys will be collected at the entrances to Staples Center with donors receiving a ticket for a raffle for Kings-related merchandise. The drive benefits Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ronald McDonald House Charities and other organizations.

The toy drive will also be held at Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
