Man Shot, Killed By Neighbor In South Bay Parking Lot: Police
A man was shot and left in the parking lot of his apartment building in the South Bay, according to reports.
HAWTHORNE, CA — A man was shot and killed by his neighbor in the parking lot of their South Bay apartment complex late Tuesday night, according to reports.
According to KTLA, police in Hawthorne received multiple 911 calls before 9 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 13900 block of Chadron Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man lying in the parking lot with wounds from a gunshot.
Paramedics declared the unidentified man dead at the scene.

Witnesses pointed police to the apartment of a man on the third floor of the building, who was then arrested as a person of interest in the shooting.
Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting and if there was any relationship between the two men. The suspect's identity was not provided.
