Manhattan Beach Concrete Getting Facelift In May

Throughout this month stretches of concrete in Manhattan Beach will be intermittently closed for repair work.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Pathways in Manhattan Beach will be impacted throughout the month of May due to the Citywide Concrete Repairs Project.

The locations that will be impacted include 6th Street and 7th Street between Highland Avenue and Valley Drive and the section of The Strand alongside the staircase at 21st Street. The city will also address water that is ponding below the Sepulveda Bridge.

Construction will take place during weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

"Access to parking and driveways may be restricted intermittently during this time, and pedestrian pathway width will be reduced," the city said in a statement.
