Manhattan Beach Election Results: Both School Bonds Approved by Voters

Both measures required 55 percent of the vote for approval.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- Voters in Manhattan Beach overwhelmingly approved two school bond measures on Tuesday night.

Measure C, which would authorize the district to issue $114 million in bonds to upgrade classrooms and other school facilities, passed with 70 percent of the vote.

Measure EE, which would authorize the district to issue $39 million in bonds to replace the Mira Costa High School gymnasium and other physical education facilities, passed with a smaller margin. Two-thirds of voters approved the measure.
