The launch of the highly-anticipated speaker series will feature world-renowned photographer and author Cory Richards.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The City of Manhattan Beach and the Los Angeles County Library announced the launch of the Manhattan Beach Library Speaker Series.
Staring with it's first event on Nov. 16, the speaker series aims to spark meaningful dialogue and cultural enrichment across diverse topics. The first speaker will be renowned American Alpinist, photographer and author Cory Richards.
“It’s a true honor to to be part of the Manhattan Beach Library Speaker Series,” Richards said. “Through my work and my books, The Color Of Everything and Bi-Polar, my aim is to shed light on the mind, heart, and the highs and lows that define the human experience. My greatest hope is that this event cracks us open and moves us toward embracing our own journeys in all their complexity and marvelousness. Above all, it is a call to examine the stories we tell, a celebration of neurodivergence, and invitation to break the story of broken.”
