Manhattan Beach Police Join Movember Campaign for Prostate Cancer
The goal of the campaign is to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and treatments, and reduce preventable deaths.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- Members of the Manhattan Beach Police Department won't be as clean-shaven as usual this November, but it's all for a good cause.
Through the month of November, police officers and staff will be displaying mustaches and mustache pins as part of the Movember campaign to bring awareness to prostate cancer.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer. The goal of Movember is to “change the face of men’s health,” the department said.
