Manhattan Beach School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The first day of school in Manhattan Beach is August 22 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Manhattan Beach School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

November

• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Recess)

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/13: Last Day of School
