Next Phase Of Vaccine Eligibility To Open Up In Manhattan Beach

Vaccines will next be available for those individuals who have certain underlying health conditions or disabilities.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA—If you are between the ages of 16-64 and have certain underlying health issues that could put you at the risk of becoming very ill from COVID-19, you will be able to receive the vaccine beginning Monday, according the LA County of Public Health

These conditions, listed in the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Provider Bulletin, include people who suffer from:

  • Cancer, current with debilitated or immunocompromised state
  • Chronic kidney disease, stage 4 or above
  • Chronic pulmonary disease, oxygen dependent
  • Down syndrome
  • Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies (excludes hypertension)
  • Severe obesity
  • Type 2 diabetes

To schedule your appointment, visit the County’s website. Appointments are mandatory to receive the vaccine and fill up quickly. The vaccines are free.
