Nora Ephron: Her Accomplishments Were Many

The screenwriter began her writing career as a journalist and was once married to Carl Bernstein, a reporter who broke the Watergate scandal. Her most recent notable contributions were in the movie industry.

The woman behind the films Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally..., You've Got Mail and Julia & Julia Nora Ephron died June 26 of pneumonia brought on by acute myeloid leukemia, according to The New York Times. She was 71.
