• Manhattan Beach To Consider Temporarily Allowing Short-Term Rentals Citywide (patch.com) — Manhattan Beach residents are being asked to weigh in as the City Council considers temporarily allowing short-term rentals across the entire city during the 2026 World Cup and 2028 Olympics and Paralympics. The proposal would expand rentals beyond the coastal zone, where they’re currently allowed after a court ruling, and public input is invited through email, e-comments, Zoom, phone, or in-person attendance at City Hall.
