Phineas & Ferb Ice Cream Truck Giving Out Free Treats In The South Bay

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — After more than 10 years off the air, Phineas and Ferb are getting another 104 days of summer vacation, and to start, they're touring the South Bay on an ice cream truck.

The last Phineas and Ferb episode aired in 2015, but Disney announced earlier this year that the show about two brothers getting into hijinks with their friends during summer vacation, and their pet platypus-turned spy, would be getting a fifth season.

To celebrate the new season, Disney has sent a bright-blue Phineas and Ferb-themed ice cream truck around Los Angeles County, including the South Bay, to give out frozen treats.

"Serving up free frozen treats, the tour offers a playful real-world experience for both longtime fans and new viewers alike," Disney Entertainment Television said in a statement.

Here is where the ice cream truck will make the rounds from 10 to 11 a.m. across Los Angeles County:

  • CBVA Tournament - Manhattan Beach (May 31)
  • Elysian Park and Studio City Farmer's Market (June 1)
  • KTLA Studios, TLC Chinese Theatre and El Capitan (June 2)
  • Sherman Oaks Farmer's Market, Elysian Park, Natural History Museum, California Science Center and East Los Angeles Library (June 3)
  • La Brea Tar Pits and Museum Row (June 5)
  • The Point in El Segundo, Walk & Play LA at the Santa Monica Pier, North Hollywood Farmer's Market and LA Live (June 7)
  • Rose Bowl Flea Market, Westwood, Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, Long Beach Farmer's Market and Shoreline Village (June 8)

The ice cream truck will also pop up in these Orange County cities:

  • Pacific City in Huntington Beach (June 1)
  • Fashion Island in Newport Beach (June 6)
  • AYSO Region 55 Tournament in Huntington Beach (June 7)

The new season debuts at 8 p.m. on June 5, with two episodes on Disney Channel and Disney XD. The first 10 episodes will be available on the Disney+ streaming service the following day.
