Manhattan Beach police are investigating the death of a in the area of in the area of 2nd and Vista.
Ryan Paullin, 25, was found dead about 3 a.m. near North Second Street and Vista Drive, according to the coroner’s office and the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

City News Service reported the victim was involved in a shooting, however Officer Stephanie Martin tells Patch that there was no gun involved.
The death appears to be a suicide, Martin said.

While the area is safe and secure, police are asking the public to avoid area due to traffic.
