'Prestigious' Butcher Shop Opening In Manhattan Beach This Summer
The new Manhattan Beach location at 1121 Artesia Blvd. will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Brian Smith grew up surrounded by neighborhood meat markets in Boston, gaining a deep appreciation for the "true" butcher shop experience.
Soon, residents of Manhattan Beach will get to experience that same sense through The Butchery, a "prestigious" butcher shop operated by Smith and co-owner Robert Hagopian.
“The Butchery began in Orange County, but expanding into Los Angeles has been a long-time goal of ours," Smith, co-owner of The Butchery, said in a statement last week. "For years, we searched for the ideal location—one that matched our vision for both the space and the community—and we knew we had found it when we discovered this location in Manhattan Beach."

The Butchery is a "prestigious" full-service butcher shop that prides itself on being known for its high-quality meats, including sausage, dry-aged beef and venison, according to a press release from The Butchery.
The stores also stock artisan cheese, craft beers, wine and other specialty grocery products.

"What started as an idea in a conversation while grilling at home has become a business that Brian and I take great pride in," co-owner Hagopian, said. "At The Butchery, we believe that to prepare an exceptional meal, you need exceptional ingredients."

The Butchery's meat selections are hand-cut to order and prepared to the specifications of the customers.
"Every cut of meat we offer is selected for its unrivaled quality and taste, ensuring that each bite takes your culinary experience to the next level!" Hagopian said.
Building upon an already strong reputation in Orange County and San Diego for their selections of meat, the Manhattan Beach will be Smith and Hagopian's fourth location.
In addition to offering an expansive butcher counter, the storefront will have a a full-service kitchen and a 45-seat indoor dining area where customers can enjoy from a rotating menu of made-to-order dishes highlighting the store's premium products.

Although it doesn't have a set opening date yet, The Butchery is expected to start serving customers this summer.
For anyone who can't wait to get their hands on The Butchery's premium products, orders can be through the Costa Mesa, Crystal Cove and Del Mar locations here. Select items can also be purchased and shipped anywhere in the country.
