Occupation: Lifeguard.

How long have you lived in Manhattan Beach? For 36 years.

What is the city's most important issue? Parking in the summer--I basically park my car and ride my bike. That's my solution.

What would you change about Manhattan Beach if you could? No drinking at the volleyball contests. I mean I know they just want to have fun, but it creates so many problems for us, and we have to go so far out of our way. And our main concern is the safety of everyone on the beach.

Where is your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax? I like to go out to Ercole's and have a burger. They have great chicken sandwiches.
