Manhattan Beach Mayor Defines City Area Where Power Could Go Out

Southern California Edison is said to be shutting off power for one hour to every city in Los Angeles County now through tomorrow night.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Parts of Manhattan Beach may lose power today through Wednesday August 19th in the evening due to Southern California Edison cutting power for one hour in every city across Los Angeles County, Manhattan Beach Mayor Richard Montgomery told Manhattan Beach Patch.

"The area affected will be East Manhattan Beach, from the south side of Manhattan Beach Boulevard to Artesia Boulevard. There is no information on when this will happen, but I wanted to keep you all informed that you might lose your power for 1 hour at some point from today Tuesday, August 18th through Wednesday, August 19th."
