Sprouts Farmers Market Opens New South Bay Grocery Store

Sprouts will celebrate the new South Bay store's grand opening with a variety of giveaways and activities over the weekend.

LAWNDALE, CA — One of the fastest-growing retailers in the county, Sprouts Farmers Market, announced it will open a new store in the South Bay.

The new store in Lawndale will officially open on Aug. 9 at 14411 Hawthorne Blvd. Store officials will celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting before it opens doors at 7 a.m.

“I am thrilled to announce the arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market to Lawndale,” said Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles. “This new addition to our community not only provides access to fresh, healthy food options but also creates job opportunities for our residents. The City of Lawndale continues to grow and attract businesses that enhance the quality of life for our citizens and Sprouts Farmers Market is a testament to that progress.”

To further celebrate the new grocery store's opening, Sprouts has prepared a variety of activities including a "pop-up party," a guess-the-weight of produce contest and more.

Additionally, the first 100 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable goodie bag filled with special products and samples. More giveaways and music will add to the festivities over the weekend.
