Suspects Found Under Washing Machine In South Bay
Police in the South Bay stopped a car with a washing machine strapped to the roof as it drove by with no license plate and no headlights on.

EL SEGUNDO, CA — A man and a woman were arrested on a variety of charges after El Segundo police stopped a car driving with a washing machine strapped to the roof.
The El Segundo Police Department was in the 1100 block of East Imperial Avenue Sunday at 10:30 p.m. when they saw the vehicle drive by with no headlights on and no front license plate. The washing machine atop the car drew attention to the vehicle and officers decided to conduct a traffic stop.
"Officers contacted the driver and the passenger of the vehicle. A records check revealed the male driver had an outstanding felony warrant for vandalism," the police department said in a statement.
