Suspicious Fires Under Investigation In South Bay

A trio of fires in the same neighborhood Sunday night are being investigated as suspicious.

EL SEGUNDO, CA — Three suspicious small fires occurred in just over a half-hour in an El Segundo neighborhood, according to a broadcast report Monday.

The fires were reported around 11:50 p.m. Sunday and around 12:19 a.m. and 12:27 a.m. Monday, KTLA reported, citing information from El Segundo Fire Department Battalion Chief Casey Snow.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fires, which were deemed suspicious because they were all in the same area and happened around the same time, Snow told KTLA.
